    The effect of emotional, spiritual and intellectual intelligence on auditor professionalism at the inspectorate of South Sulawesi Province

    As government organizers—serving as the supervisory function of the civil government work unit—auditors at the inspectorate are very dependent on their professionalism. Some factors that support auditor professionalism are emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, and intellectual intelligence which are used as variables analyzed in this study. This study took the research object of all auditors at the Inspectorate of South Sulawesi Province, with the total of 59 people. This study uses a quantitative approach with an analytical method of linear regression. The results showed that emotional intelligence has no significant effect on auditor professionalism, while spiritual intelligence and intellectual intelligence have a significant effect on it in which it is indicated by the value of R2 that is 0.643 or 64.3%

    : Strategy Recruitment of Indonesian Migrant Workers Abroad in Surabaya. Problems of Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) is still a lot going on, one of which is sending TKI illegally. Recruitment strategy has an important role in preparing for sending workers abroad. This research uses descriptive research with qualitative approach, focusing on how the recruitment strategy of TKI that performed by Technical Services Unit for Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (UPT P3TKI) of Surabaya. Workers abroad recruitment strategies conducted by UPT P3TKI Surabaya, are Indonesian Migrant Workers placement program between the government (Government to Government) to South Korean, program placement and protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PPTKLN) socialization, technical guidance (BIMTEK) by interagency intergovernmental working (AKAN) officers. Suggestions to UPT P3TKI Surabaya, to open branches of the UPT P3TKI to districts in East Java to simplify and expedite the deployment process of TKI abroad

    Analyzing Volatility of Rice Price in Indonesia Using ARCH/GARCH Model

    This research aims to to analyze and to study the implication of the volatility of deflated retail price of rice in out of Java which are represented by three markets in Indonesia, namely Medan, Makassar, and Banjarmasin. The period of observation is from January 1984 to August 2011. The better model in this study is Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH). The result of the study shows that the change of rice price in all three markets was caused mainly by seasons and yearly routine cycles. In addition, at the reformation era and at economic crisis, the rice prices were more volatile

    Abstract The aims of the research is to determine the influence of khutbah jum’at material of some Islamic leaders in the several villages of Kediri-East Java in the role in minimizing the radicalism of Islam. This study includes field research based on several supporting data of observation, including; interview, participation and trining which is coverage around three mounths in the some villages on 7 districts of Kediri regency. Therefore, by analyzing the role of some Islamic leader (read; kyai) in the some Kediri villages, this research encourages that they have a so big potential in the process of giving a religious understanding to their community to minimize radicalism in Islam. This project tries to explain the role of kyai in the village is so significan in the process of de-radicalism (minimizing rradicalism in Islam). The goal of this research is a finding that this potential of kyai in the some villages-Kediri should be organized and supported by several sides including; government, academic institution, and others. Hopefully, this research would like to really give a massive contribution in the process of religious radicalism in Kediri specially, and Indonesia universally.     THE ROLE OF YOUTH STARTUP IN PROMOTING THE REGIONAL ECONOMY: A GROUNDED THEORY RESEARCH

    The main focus of this research was to see the role of young startups in the local economy.  This research was qualitative using grounded theory.  The choice of this method was based on the purpose of the research being carried out, which was to build a theory based on data obtained from young startup participants in seeing job opportunities open up and improving community welfare.  The steps taken to obtain data were interviews, observation, and document review.  The data was analyzed based on the constructivism data analysis model in the form of data transcription and data interpretation through open coding, axial coding, and selective coding.  Researchers using grounded theory were intended to explain the impact of the phenomenon of youth startups on the regional economy and unemployment which was extracted from information from participants, especially among young startups.  The conclusion obtained from this research was that job opportunities will be opened to the community not only by using the theory "the more companies the more work opportunities" but also job opportunities will be opened to the community if companies or startups develop jobs that are in accordance with the social conditions of the community in an are

    This study aims to examine the effect of time budget pressure and audit fees on audit quality with emotional intelligence as a moderating variable. The data in this study were obtained from BPKP South Sulawesi Province representatives who were willing to become respondents. This study uses primary data by conducting direct research in the field by giving questionnaires / question sheets to 112 respondents. The data analysis method uses the SmartPLS approach to examine the effect of time budget pressure and audit fees on audit quality with emotional intelligence as a moderating variable. The results showed that the time budget pressure variable had a negative and significant effect on audit quality; audit fees have a positive and not significant effect on audit quality; emotional intelligence can strengthen the relationship of time budget pressure to audit quality; and emotional intelligence cannot strengthen the audit fee relationship to audit qualit

    Abstract: Philosophy As The Foundation Of Science In The Development Of Chemistry. This article aims to present an explanation of philosophy as the basis of science in the development of chemistry. This article uses the literature review method. The library sources used in this article are journals and books on the development of chemistry. The results of the research show that (1) Philosophy serves as the basis from which philosophy is obtained the truth which becomes the basis or foundation of chemistry. By learning something related to chemistry through knowledge (philosophy) is a step to get true and objective knowledge about chemistry. (2) Chemists and scientists agree on the basis of the development of chemistry, namely to obtain answers to the what and why questions about matter in nature, each of which will produce facts and theoretical knowledge about matter whose truth can be explained by mathematical logic. Finally, (3) The study of chemistry in its development includes aspects of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. The ontology aspect includes the chemical concept of matter and matter. The epistemological aspect includes the understanding of chemistry that is obtained and developed based on experiments and theories.     Program Retensi Perawat untuk Mengurangi Turnover Perawat Non PNS di Rumah Sakit X

    Rumah sakit harus mampu mempertahankan pegawai, terutama tenaga kesehatan seperti perawat, hal ini dilakukan agar rumah sakit dapat mempertahankan eksistensinya. Angka turnover yang tinggi merupakan sebuah ancaman bagi rumah sakit, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan program retensi pegawai untuk mempertahankan pegawai dari turnover intention. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran proses pengembangan perawat non PNS di Rumah Sakit X. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara terhadap perawat PNS, perawat non PNS, perawat yang telah resign, dan pihak manajemen Rumah Sakit X. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Rumah Sakit X telah melaksanakan program retensi pegawai, namun belum bisa menurunkan angka turnover perawat non PNS. Sistem remunerasi yang merupakan program retensi pegawai perlu ditinjau ulang, karena dengan adanya sistem remunerasi, turnover perawat non PNS semakin meningkat. Turnover perawat non PNS di Rumah Sakit X disebabkan oleh kepastian karier dan kesejahteraan pegawai yang kurang. Program retensi pegawai di Rumah Sakit X harus fokus pada faktor penyebab turnover perawat non PNS, agar program retensi pegawai dapat dirancang dengan baik. Pihak manajemen Rumah Sakit X harus melakukan analisa yang tepat dan melihat berbagai dampak yang akan muncul dari penerapan program retensi pegawai tersebut. A hospital must be able to retain employees, especially health workers such as nurses, this is done so that the hospital can maintain its existence. High turnover is a threat to the hospital. Therefore, employee retention programs are needed to keep employees from turnover intentions. This study aims to determine the description of the process of developing non-civil servant nurses in Hospital X. This study uses qualitative methods with a descriptive research type. Data obtained through interviews with civil servant nurses, non-civil servant nurses, nurses who have resigned, and the management of Hospital X. The results of this study indicate that Hospital X has implemented an employee retention program, but has not been able to reduce the turnover rate of non-civil servant nurses. The remuneration system which is an employee retention program needs to be reviewed because, with the remuneration system, the turnover of non-civil servant nurses is increasing. The turnover of non-civil servant nurses at Hospital X was caused by career certainty and lack of employee welfare. The employee retention program at Hospital X must focus on the factors that cause the turnover of non-civil servant nurses so that the employee retention program can be well designed. The management of Hospital X must conduct appropriate analysis and see the various impacts that will arise from the application of the employee retention program

    Religious Education Curriculum in the Family: Islamic Perspective

    This article tries to adapt the concept of religious education curriculum in the family with Islamic perspectives whose main source comes from the thought of Islamic education scholars. Islam considers education in the family to be the oldest informal religious educational institution. The role of parents or families is very important to the successful education of the child, because the child has more time at home with his family. Religious education in the family is intended to shape children into human beings who believe and fear Allah SWT and have noble character and religious values that are carried out in daily life. Seeing how important the role of the family in educating children, a curriculum concept is needed as a reference for Muslim parents in educating their children. Thus, parents can guide their children by providing educational materials that suit the needs, ages, interests, and talents of children, as stated in Ibn Sina and al-Shaibani's thoughts on the concept of education in the family. Besides, aspects of the use of methods in educating children are important things to be considered by parents.
